Workday Student Team Reaches Major Milestone

Since the last Workday Student update, the team has achieved a significant project milestone. On August 5th, we officially went live on Workday Student at LSU Eunice! This milestone gives LSU Eunice the ability to recruit, accept applications and admit incoming Fall 2025 and beyond prospects in Workday.  In September, LSU A&M will integrate (via Slate) applicants for the purpose of verifying and packaging student financial aid and preliminary transfer credit for Summer 2025 and beyond.   Additionally, both institutions will begin to maintain academic calendars, programs of study (majors, minors, etc.), a catalog of educational institutions (for transfer credit), and institutional course catalogs in Workday.  This allows us to be ready in early spring for the move to Workday Student for all students. 

Training has started at LSU A&M and LSU Eunice for staff that will use this functionality in the new student information system.  Training resources for the general campus communities will be located on each respective institution's website.
