MEDIA ADVISORY: Two LSU Degree Candidates to be Commissioned into the Armed Forces Dec. 14

Two LSU Army ROTC students will be commissioned into the Armed Forces at a commissioning ceremony Thursday, December 14, in the Bill Lawton Room of Tiger Stadium at 1:30 p.m. Media are invited to attend.

These students will also graduate from LSU on Friday, December 15.

LSU degree candidate Alberto Ontiveros, a native of Gonzales, will be commissioned into the Army Reserves as a Second Lieutenant in the Adjutant General Corps. On Friday, he will receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and Decision Sciences with minors in Professional Leadership and Analytics.

LSU degree candidate Bailey A. Scott, a native of Denham Springs, will be commissioned as an Active Duty Second Lieutenant in the Military Police Corps. He will receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology and minors in Professional Leadership and Political Science.
