Families who register and pay to attend events during LSU Family Weekend will be able to purchase tickets to the LSU vs. McNeese State University football game (while supplies last).
Once you register for Family Weekend, you will receive a separate registration confirmation email with instructions for purchasing your football tickets. Only family members registered and paid for Family Weekend are eligible to purchase tickets through the Family Weekend football ticket block.
Please note that football tickets are a separate cost and not included in the price of your Family Weekend registration.
Ticket Options
Tickets will be available to purchase on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Plan to purchase your football tickets as early as possible after you register for Family Weekend, since tickets are limited. Tickets in the lower level are expected to sell out very quickly. There is no guarantee that football tickets will be available to everyone who registers for Family Weekend.
Lower Level - North End Zone (sections 234-238) = $58.24 per ticket (including processing fees)
Lower Level - South End Zone (sections 402-403) = $81.29 per ticket (including processing fees)
East Upper Deck (section 630-643) = $12.97 per ticket (including processing fees)

The LSU Tigers will be playing the McNeese State University Cowboys.
Football tickets will be available to family members registered for Family Weekend. Details on how to purchase these tickets will be sent in a confirmation email received after registering for Family Weekend. Only registered family members are eligible for these football tickets.
Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Plan to purchase your football tickets as early as possible after you register for Family Weekend, since tickets are limited and expected to sell out.
The number of football tickets you may purchase cannot exceed the number of family members registered and paid for Family Weekend.
For example, if you register and pay for four family members to attend Family Weekend, you may purchase up to four football tickets through the Family Weekend ticket block.
No, football tickets in the Family Weekend allotment are reserved ONLY for family members registered and paid for Family Weekend.
If you are not registered for Family Weekend, you are not eligible to purchase tickets through the Family Weekend ticket block. For information on football tickets available to the general public, please visit www.lsutix.net.
Confirmation emails are sent in the order registrations are received. You should receive your confirmation email within a few minutes of completing your Family Weekend registration.
If you do not receive your confirmation email, please contact our office as soon as possible at lsufamily@lsu.edu or 225-578-1173, so we can manually resend it.
Football tickets are limited, so we encourage you to purchase your tickets as soon as you receive your confirmation email.
Family Weekend football tickets are available in the following areas of Tiger Stadium:
- Lower Level - North End Zone (sections 234-238)
- Lower Level - South End Zone (sections 402-403)
- East Upper Deck (sections 630-643)
If your LSU student has purchased a student ticket to the LSU vs. McNeese State football game, they can use that ticket to sit in the student section of Tiger Stadium, which is located in the North End Zone.
If you would like your LSU student to sit with your family during the game, you will need to purchase an additional football ticket for them through the Family Weekend ticket block. Your student's regular LSU student ticket cannot be used to sit with your Family Weekend ticket block.
Yes, but your student will sit in the student section only. If your student would like to sit with registered family members, you will need to purchase an additional ticket in the Family Weekend group block of tickets.
Football tickets are limited and sold on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Please do not delay in purchasing your football tickets once you receive your confirmation email. Tickets in the Family Weekend allotment are only available to families who register for Family Weekend.
Family Weekend participants who need handicap-accessible or easily-accessible seating tickets in Tiger Stadium should contact the LSU Athletic Ticket Office at tickets@lsu.edu or call 225-578-2184 after completing registration for Family Weekend.
This includes family members who may have difficulty climbing multiple flights of stairs or navigating traditional stadium seating.
Handicap-accessible seating and easily accessible seating in Tiger Stadium are extremely limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage families who need these accommodations to contact the LSU Athletic Ticket Office as soon as possible after completing their Family Weekend registration.
