LSU's Greek Theater a Favorite Spot for Group Events, Quiet Contemplation
January 01, 2023
Built in 1926 to hold the entire campus population, the Greek Theatre was once the location of major university assemblies. Today it is the starting place for the Golden Band from Tigerland's procession into Tiger Stadium on game days.
The site also serves as a gathering place for outdoor concerts, various performances, and other group activities. And it's a favorite spot for students and others to sit with friends, or alone, for studying, conversation, or quiet contemplation.
