Faculty Quickstarts

Faculty Quickstarts are 1-hour monthly sessions held during the fall and spring semesters, designed to introduce faculty to key teaching resources and support services. While they’re especially helpful for new faculty adjusting to LSU, all faculty are welcome to attend. Each session focuses on a specific area of teaching support. These sessions offer a practical, no-frills way to stay informed and connected to campus tools that can enhance teaching and student success.

Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) Director Sarah Ferstel will provide an overview of the resources available to faculty and students interested in faculty-mentored research experiences.  Attendees will learn about opportunities for recruiting students, funding for students, events, training, and more offered by OUR.
