Electromagnetic Induction

Induction in a coil

 

Used to show how current is induced in a coil due to change in a magnetic field.

APPARATUS:	LOCATION:
coil	N5
Galvanometer	P1
Bar magnet	N3

Move the bar magnet in or out of the coil and watch the reaction of the galvanometer. Keep the magnet stationary in the coil and show that the current goes to zero.
