Global Engagement Spotlight: Muzna Hamza

Throughout the year, OGE highlights students from our incredible global community. Today we're excited to highlight Muzna Hamza, a PhD student in industrial engineering and a member of LSU’s student government.

Originally from Pakistan, Muzna chose LSU because of her interest in the work of Dr. Isabelina Nahmens, the Industrial Engineering Program Director at the LSU College of Engineering.

Muzna dreams of pursuing a career advancing research in industrial engineering and healthcare, and she’s making that dream a reality, all while giving back to the student community. When asked what she's most proud of so far in her work at LSU, Muzna said, “I feel genuinely proud of myself because of the efforts I have been able to put into my PhD research while working with great minds and being involved in student government as an advocate for the international student community.”
