Special thanks to Tebere Art’s Foundation, whose Mid to Late Career Playwright’s residency afforded me the time, space, recourses and community to expand what was a twenty-minute, one-woman show into a full-length four person production. Your dedicated work within the Ugandan theatre framework continues to provide a home for thespians desperately seeking a place to keep their stories alive. This is their website, check them out - https://tebere.org/
I would also like to recognize my many mothers – those women whose lives have set up the foundation for me to build my own. I admire your resilience, fear your strength, aspire to your hope, and thoroughly enjoy your company. Thank you for pouring into me with selfless abandon, and for showing me the value of a timely word.
Above all, I give thanks to God, without whom my very life would mean nothing.
