Provost's Fellow for Leadership Development

The Office of Academic Affairs is accepting applications for a Provost's Fellow for
leadership development. This is a one-year fellowship open to all LSU faculty who
have earned tenure, are full professors, and have served in a leadership capacity.
Interested faculty members should submit an updated curriculum vita along with a one-page
letter describing interest, experience, and skills in leadership development.
About the Role
The Provost's Fellow will report directly to Senior Vice Provost Jane Cassidy. Responsibilities include:
- Manage LSU's enterprise membership with Academic Impressions
- Develop a monthly professional development plan for faculty that outlines available opportunities and activities
- Provide recommendations for faculty professional development
- Help design curricula for leadership opportunities, such as the Academy for Scholars as Leaders and Administrator Roundtables
- Develop assessments for leadership programming offered by the Office of Academic Affairs
- Attend, and occasionally lead, leadership development opportunities offered by the Office of Academic Affairs
